今天是國(guó)慶節(jié)的第五天，也是一個(gè)不錯(cuò)的日子。這一刻我的外籍老師，也是我的外籍朋友從桂林來(lái)到成都。于是，我們相約在文殊坊喝中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)茶道。帶他體會(huì)中國(guó)文化的魅力。此刻，我們談到了很多關(guān)于中國(guó)和美國(guó)的文化。從中明白其實(shí)美國(guó)文化不比中國(guó)強(qiáng)。而中國(guó)富有5000年歷史，在這里就比美國(guó)更有神秘感。中午時(shí)間，我領(lǐng)他去品嘗了成都傳統(tǒng)地道小吃。老師Tommy贊不絕口。其實(shí)在他品嘗過(guò)程中，我第一次感覺(jué)到，也明白了與老友傻樂(lè)相伴，是莫大幸哉。他也教會(huì)了我悔恨自己的錯(cuò)誤，而且力求不再重蹈覆轍，這才是真正的悔悟。優(yōu)于別人，并不高貴，真正的高貴應(yīng)該是優(yōu)于過(guò)去的自己。

  Today is fifth of national day. Also is a sunny day. My foreign teacher Tommy come to Chengdu. We meet at Wenshu Monastery in the morning. Then we chat and drinking Chinese tea together for long time. During meet , we talked some topics about culture of the United States and China. Lunch time , we have lunch in a restaurant . I took him to taste the authentic snacks in Chengdu . After lunch, he told me: that’s awesome. At the moment, I first understand one sentence that it is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them. To regret one’s errors to the point of not repeating them is true repentance. There is nothing noble in being superior to some other man. The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self.
